CHANGES - they are coming.

Online poker - in my mind, is crap. For years I've played poker online and treated is as "entertainment"/ "school" / "a place to laugh" Many of the regular live poker players (friends of mine) from the get go going back - oh.. back to 2003/04 - started to see early on that getting "the money" in with the best hand - meant very little when playing online poker..

Many of us kept it to small time money w/poker when playing online - I think we all figured, hey - It's something to do. Especially in the winter months. Again, we also seen it as a good way to practice playing better poker. Even though our better moves where sucked out on more than normal math should allow.

Now years later - I'm finding the same.. NOTHING NEW - "in with the best" called by a fool - and BEAT. - Playing better poker, getting the other players to make the bad move is easy when playing online. Getting these quality hands and situations to hold. Well.. that's a whole other story.

I can't help but think that - THAT ONE LUCKY PLAYER - is nothing but a BOT or a child chained to a seat in some third world country - PLAYING for a system that is crooked. (In other words - NONE OF US EVER WIN - over time.) Sure - Some will win.. Enough to make it appear legit.. but thousands of losers to the one winning poker player. Plus they can always that that winning money BACK in time.

Hope is still out there - I've been in direct contact with a new company that wants to help CHANGE all this crookedness - Online - poker - crap. This fall - hopefully we will see it all get rolling.

Changes I'm making now... ALL banners except (1)ON EACH SITE are coming down. Here and on XFILESPOKER.COM All of them. No longer will I work WITH companies that I know to be crooked. I've just seen too many hands that made me loads of cash over the years IN LIVE POKER GAMES.. lose online. I'll only keep the (1) banner - Full Tilt - because it's a site where we play our games (xfilespoker.com forum)

I hope to move these games to the new company I keep talking about ASAP. (Still hoping they are able to accept American players) Not sure at this point.

Ok - so - there you go. Time to clean things up a bit around here on the standbackworld poker blog!!
