LIVE POKER EVENT (CHARITY) $50.00+20 April 19 and ONLINE $10 games at FULL TILT

Some have told me this is a TOUGH SELL - but I can't understand why? A poker player (a good one) needs some help. I want to try and get her that help.

I have a new MISSION people! - A poker friend of ours needs some help! I'm going to reach out to my ONLINE poker pals - PLAYERS that KNOW a lot of rounders and then pray - something happens....

I will be running a live event in HAZLETON Pa - ON April 19 - 11am (This will be a DEEP STACK tourney) $50+20 It will be held at our local lodge. I will also - for the first time - attempt to get a few games going on FULL TILT (NL tourneys) with a $5.00 buy in $5.00 donation. If anyone has any other idea's - I'm all ears.

TO ALL MY PLAYERS THAT HAVE TOLD ME YOU ARE IN THE LIVE EVENT ALREADY = THANKS! (Sorry to the good few - that can not play that date... NOTICE! I will still take a $20 bill! Cmon! It's for a good cause.. READ BELOW.)

This lady's poker related story along with a few other details (like my coming back from the dead - illness) has re-ignited my love for poker...and taken me to a whole new PLAYING level...it's a game I have played hardcore since 1991... and THAT I LOVE MORE THAN MOST PLAYERS EVER WILL... Because of this I want to help her... PLAYERS NEED TO STICK TOGETHER (THAT... and because we have become poker pals, friends, members of a virtual poker classroom)

Maybe when YOU hear her VERY COOL poker story..Maybe you will want to help a fellow player out... THAT'S MY PRAYER anyway... hopefully you will come and play one of my fund raising games (live or online) - and help make A WSOP dream happen... (and allow her to PLAY her A game - without worries outside the game itself. Let's face it! The game itself is enough)

I told, no teased you a few blogs back about this girl I ran into online -It was a few months back that I met her.. I had been reading her blog since mid summer - 2007 - and then, starting talking to her via SKYPE back in January (2008) I had NO idea until much later that she had a disease.. a disease called Fibromyalgia note - she has helped me with my studies and my NL poker game, for the record. I also had no idea - HOW GOOD A PLAYER SHE WAS !

I'll get on with the story soon - I swear!

I asked CHRISTINA to explain in short to tell me what that means - Here was her answer..

Fibromyalgia -

ABOUT THE DISEASE - Fibromyalgia (FM) is a disorder classified by the presence of chronic widespread pain and tactile allodynia.[1] An example of tactile allodynia is when a person perceives light pressure or the movement of clothes over the skin as painful, whereas a healthy individual will not feel pain. While the criteria for such an entity have not yet been thoroughly developed, the recognition that fibromyalgia involves more than just pain has led to the frequent use of the term “fibromyalgia syndrome.” It is not contagious, and recent studies suggest that people with fibromyalgia may be genetically predisposed.[6] It affects more females than males, with a ratio of 9:1 by American College of Rheumatology (ACR)criteria.[7] Fibromyalgia is seen in about 2% of the general population.[8] It is most commonly diagnosed in individuals between the ages of 20 and 50, though onset can occur in childhood.

The disorder is not directly life-threatening. The degree of symptoms may vary greatly from day to day with periods of flares (severe worsening of symptoms) or remission; however, the disorder is generally perceived as non-progressive.[9]

Welcome to my slice of the Internet... This POKER blog is 100% me - WELL.. I know I could sit with the PROS already and I expect to be doing so within 2-3 years on a regular basis. (I have goals outside of POKER that I must hit before I can live my POKER DREAM) I just need those FEW last TRICKS to pick up. I know I'm CLOSE to gaining these last few tricks.

(I'll accept that! and smile.. SHE "gets me") Actually I accept Anyone's take on things as long as the "take"that they present is not retarded. I've been told by a lot of people that I'm a lot of things... PEOPLE who DO THINGS IN LIFE always have that sorta thing happen. Look thru my blog and you will see my many friends - people who "get me"... I'm blessed and have many friends - friends I'd trust with my life in a war.





What do I think about myself?


I think I can do anything! HOW INSANE IS THAT?? I might even win a bracelet or two. I also think that I'm a FAT version of DAVID LEE ROTH (VAN HALEN) or a "T.O." from the DALLAS COWBOYS.. I'm over the top! Life is SO much more FUN "over the top" - Maybe - just maybe - I can help YOU get there. (Over the TOP that is)

Odd night - Playing poker - talking poker - reading poker... and MAKING PLANS

I've decided to work on MY charity goals for 2008 - and that's what I'm going to do.. TONIGHT I'm setting goals(2008)to raise some money for my charities.

To bring some of you up to speed... I have projects that I have donated to for years (self donations) and a bunch of others that I help to raise money for with the ELKS.... I was taught to GIVE back since a young age... and it feels good to make a difference... I do it for no other reason then because it seems like the right thing to do.. TO PLAIN HELP PEOPLE OUT.. WHEN I CAN.

Besides the CHARITY work with the ELKS.. I have a SPECIAL group of kids that I give money to for about 5 years now (AUTISTIC CHILDREN) - The group is growing and I'll be needing MORE money that my yearly donation of $250.00 (Christmas Party) so I'm going to run some LIVE tourneys in my area and HOPEFULLY also start some games on FULL TILT.. to make up a little extra that they need to a growing class... The kids need music and books and GAMES for the classroom as well as the GIFTS for the PARTY at CHRISTMAS. The Elks donate the SPACE and some picking foods (and SANTA) and I try to help make the rest happen. I'll get a few pictures up of my kids and none of you will keep a dry eye.


This YEAR I got to make it happen! This year the BILLS are going up! This YEAR we start THINKING bigger for these kids... On top of this... I'm adding another TASK to my list. HELPING A POKER PLAYER FRIEND OF MINE keep from having a POKER DREAM become a POKER NIGHTMARE...

It's easy - A card player (a real player) needs a hand.. - She is someone I'm really going to enjoy helping. She's a poker player that happens to have Fibromyalgia... Did I mention she is a very GOOD player?? that ...GET THIS! - WON! her seat into this years WSOP - but also, sadly, WON no spending money OR travel/hotel money.. with her seat (boooo) Between here disease and her $ woes. She's stressed out a bit.

Knowing how good she is at the game - I have to try and HELP her out... Wouldn't you? (Maybe you can help too) Stay posted here for special games on FULL TILT coming up in next few weeks.. I hope to get a few games going.. very soon.


Fibromyalgia (pronounced fie-bro-my-AL-juh) is one of the most common chronic widespread types of pain in the U.S. In fact, it affects more than 6 million people. I'm not going to let her GO and PLAY all stressed... NOT ON MY WATCH.. A while back.. I suggested to her to CONSIDER selling a % of herself and she agreed to no more that 20% of her buy in... THEN, I asked her if a bunch of my POKER PALS raised $500 (in home tourneys) would she then DONATE the 5% to the HAZLETON ELKS LODGE #200. The other 5% I'm buying for my FAMILY - (Basically for my daughters school and milk money) I'm in for a $500 gamble and I'm happy to have this skilled player playing for us.

I'm unable to get to VEGAS this year anyways - I'M just starting to feel better myself and I'm not GOING TO MOVE TOO FAST.. I want to stay healthy.. I get to FEEL like I'm there ROOTING her on from PENNSYLVANIA.

I'll live thru "HER" experience in this years event - hopefully... she will sleep easy with the flight, hotel and spending money ALL taken care of.. that's the plan anyways... I DON'T KNOW TOO MANY POKER PLAYERS THAT COULD PLAY THEIR "A" GAME WHILE STRESSING OUT ABOUT BEING BROKE (AND HUNGRY) IN VEGAS. Vegas is a tough town when you are broke..

THIS tough little girl found me about 3 months ago (or so) I'm not sure.. SUCH a BLUR with this one... She came into my life - and FIXED me up some.. She kinda sorta put some OIL in my poker joints (kinda like the TIN man in the WIZARD OF OZ) and for that - I took her under my wing.. (my POKER wing) She GETS IT ALL! ALL my tricks.. Anyways.. YOU KNOW WHAT? TO DATE! I've never had a BRIGHTER STUDENT OF THE GAME.. And I've tought quite a few.. I knew from the FIRST LESSON - This one (this student) is going PLACES. THIS GAL will NOT only LEARN the GAME - She will get as close to a MASTERS in POKER as one can hope ever hope for. (No mastering this game unless your an IBM computer - at least that's my take) She is ALL business when it comes to PICKING my brain.. and I "love" the fact that she LOVES the game as much as I do. Mostly - I like the fact that she "gets it!"...

I bring this lady friend UP because I want anyone reading this blog to know that I have three gifts that GOD has givin me.. One - THE ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND/LISTEN TO PEOPLE - TWO - THE ABILITY (over the 18+ years I've played) TO WIN AT POKER. THREE - TO teach OTHERS how to WIN even MORE. (God is FUNNY some times) I'm still HAPPY though because I have had "3" lives already and I have not wanted for anything REALLY in quite a long time. For a kid that came from a very poor family of 6 kids.. I want to say the TRUTH - I'm blessed.

John knew LITTLE about running a GARAGE poker game - Let alone a serious online poker site. It seemed to ME - John had four things.. A smart gang of thugs.. money.. balls.. and the pre-determined thought to fuck people the world over..

ANY player with just a few years at the felt could see (and hear) this - when talking to John Dutchak for any short period of time... (He was SO good - EVEN I had to go the extra mile - the extra hours on the phone..) Every hour I did - I knew I was hearing BS - but like you - I "LOVED THAT PRODUCT!" I liked that DREAM... and I listened too long.

Yes - Even BIG TOM (big SMART TOM TOM) went DEEP with John - Trying to HELP HIM (lol) to GET IT! He had a great SERVICE and GREAT program/product - but he did not care.. He knew the math of selling to suckers..(selling memberships) period. He knew where the BIG money was... He knew he HAD us! We were the FISH in his poker game (in his life)

HE BOWLED US OVER BIGTIME...

Johhny boy had more losing games (losing bouts ON the PHONE with skin owners) than that

of the MIAMI DOLPHINS last season... LOL... ANDdddddd.....

Still MANY of you - US - (God love you) are SO in LOVE with the concept (a really good one BTW) that you will take it in the ASS - over and over and over again... EVEN at this POINT!

First! Make sure the members of THE NEW IMPROVED online poker site can TRUST the people running the game.. In real life - It would be explained like this - (Yo MIKE.. I like to play in the game BUBBA runs - you know BEHIND the BOWLING ALLEY.... Yeah! Me too! His game is FAIR and the POTS ARE HUGE.. Such FISH go there too! Bubba is a COOL GUY and he is good man..... HE RUNS A FAIR GAME and KNOWS POKER!) I know - you're thinking - THIS WILL NEVER HAPPEN.... (Give me and others time)

NOW - DO the SAME thing, create an HONEST GAME ONLINE! With a guy like BUBBA! (ME for example.... SHOCKING!!! MAYBE??? Yes, but only because you drink the ONLINE POKER KOOLAID - lol - for a bit too long now) - Use VIDEO and an OUTSIDE SECURITY FIRM (That the members "choose" via vote.. If they don't like current security OR pit boss - VOTE THEM OUT!)

THE SITE of the FUTURE then VIDEO TAPES a PIT BOSS, DEALER and a THIRD PARTY (SECURITY FIRM) actually DEALING CARDS OUT SOMEHOW.. LIVE. On camera.. ON THE GREEN FELT... Of course - it will get tricky - with the ENTRY of the seats being required.. (but it could be done)

With a "SOMEONE WATCHING SOMEONE ELSE security game.. just like VEGAS casinos BTW" (Eye in sky is watching pit boss, pit boss watching dealer - security watching PIT BOSS, etc) - I'm sure it can be done... AND this will assure the online player - IT's as close to REAL LIFE as possible - (Fuck the RNG in other words) GET RID OF IT! DEAL EM - LIVE!

out on video (the whole process , on multi videos even) and then the program does the rest - (BETTING AND POT SPLITTING, CASHIER.. ETC - SAME AS WHAT WE ARE USED TO ONLINE)

**EXCEPT **

The players FOLLOW the action of the FLOP TURN AND RIVER via what comes up in a LIVE DEAL... (Video shows the table (CARDS) on your computer screen.. in REAL TIME)

A REAL HUMAN DEALER WITH A REAL SKILL FOR DEALING - ripple riffle (whatever it is) shuffle kind of dealer- (With CUT CARDS, BURN CARDS - ETC) NO DIGITAL FLOPS! (FUK THE RNG!) - YOU SEE THE FLOP ON VIDEO - YOU BET! - YOU SEE THE TURN - YOU BET.. REAL ACTION! HUGE POTS! A FEELING LIKE - HOLY SHIT! I CAN BLUFF AND KNOW THAT THE RNG DID NOT make action happen - by delivering action cards! YOU GET WHAT YOU GET - JUST LIKE IN VEGAS or ATLANTIC CITY!

Put me out of business really - to tell the truth.. Almost over night - MY players went BY BY.. lol (Trust me - I was not laughing about it back then - as I sunk much money into this site) Now I can look back and laugh - and I can also move ahead - with the KNOWING of what I will and will not do with the new site.. (For a better site all around)GOALLIN was a START though and I look back and SMILE thinking about it.. I met a LOAD of friends on that site - Friends that are really great poker players.

Soon after the SITES shutdown I got really ILL - NOT due to the BILL being made LAW - but for other reasons and I just left POKER talk/CHAT/BUSINESS (online) behind for a while -
Now we are back and when our players find out about us - THEY WILL BE BACK!
